AUDIT COMMITTEE: This committee has the responsibility to make certain the financial records of the PTSA are correct and follow the guidelines set forth by state and federal agencies. This committee will review the financial records on a monthly basis and present their findings at the monthly general membership meeting. COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE: This committee has the responsibility to communicating all information to the PTSA members. This committee maintains the website and produces all email notifications. EVENTS COMMITTEE: This committee has the responsibility for planning and implementing different PTSA events through out the year. These events would include Staff Appreciation events, Student Fun events, New Student/Parent welcome receptions and other events. To participate in this committee, click here.
FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE: This committee has the responsibility for raising the needed funds to support the PTSA. This committee will work with several different state, local and national businesses and organizations to apply for grant funds. MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE: This committee has the responsibility for hosting Membership Drives, as well hosting Membership events once a quarter at the monthly membership meeting. NOMINATING COMMITTEE: This committee has the responsibility for developing nominees for the different PTSA Officers and School Leadership Committee Members for the coming school year. This committee meets January thru May to gather the nominees names. The committee presents the nominees to the general membership at the April PTSA General Membership meeting. Voting for the nominees is to be completed by the Monday before the May PTSA General Membership meeting and presents the election results at the May General Membership meeting. The parent representatives are nominated and appointed to this committee by the PTSA General Membership. STEM DREAM TEAM COMMITTEE: Members of this committee serve as Ambassadors for the PTSA and STEM. This committee works with the Communications, Events, Fundraising and Volunteer Committees to develop community relationships, recruit community leaders as Mentors for the students and financial supporters of the PTSA.
